I was charged with 3rd degree felony assault of an x gf, after almost 20,000.00 on lawyer fees, bail bonds the?
grand jury no billed the case. she filed this charge in march, saying the assault occurred the past October. i was never questioned, and there was no investigation. the young deputy, even called and left vm telling me to stay away from her even though i was am living 100 miles away. is there any way to recoup any of the monies lost during this ordeal? thanks

What is the process in Texas to work in the bail bonds industry?I live in Fort Worth and I am getting my high school diploma online and I was interested in working in the bail bonds industry after, but I cant find out what I am supposed to do first, like a class? Or walk into someones office and ask for a job? What is the process of starting out? If you have information on websites for me to look on I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Do you have to give your socia security number to a bail bonds?
I assisted a friend of mine get their girlfriend out of jail by co signing on the bail bond. they called the next day and said I HAD to give them my social security number. Isn't there some kind of law in NJ that states I don't? They bond wasn't even for me or anyone in my family. I'm not sure how the SS laws work, but I'm rather sketchy about giving it out. HELP

Bail bonded out for $10k cash then after indictment had to sign surety bond for $25k! Is this fair...legal?
I bonded a person out for a $10k cash bond in the state of Kentucky. I put up $10k of my own money...no bondsman . This person appeared in district court as I guaranteed thru the bond, the case was rescheduled. I was told, more or less, they rescheduled because they had plans to indict this person for a first time possession charge, and as I was told, a few days later this person was indicted ... shifting everything to Circuit court. At the first Circuit court date.. the judge stated that a $25k surety bond was required in order to release this person again. My question is... after posting $10k cash ... why is another bond for $25k surety bond required for the same charges?So they can just keep adding bail bonds as they go as long as they can add additional charges for this one event? I am apparently very ignorant when it comes to bail bonds. So I am out $10k cash plus another $25k if things go bad? BTW, I forgot to mention this person is now in jail awaiting charges after failing a drug test, so why cant they release this money?I meant they are awaiting sentencing
